چکیده
Contactless RF-based sensing techniques are emerging as a viable means for building gesture recognition systems. While promising, existing solutions have poor generalization ability when targeting new users, environments or device deployment. They also often require multiple pairs of transceivers and large number training samples each target domain. These limitations either lead to cross-domain performance incur huge labor cost, hindering their practical adoption. This paper introduces Wi-Learner, novel solution that relies on just one pair but can deliver accurate using data sample per user, environment setup. Wi-Learner achieves this by first capturing the gesture-induced Doppler frequency shift (DFS) from noisy measurements carefully designed signal processing schemes. It then employs convolution neural network-based autoencoder extract low-dimensional features be fed into downstream model recognition. meta-learner "teach" network learn effectively small set points, allowing base quickly adapt domain sample. By so doing, we reduce overhead collection allow system change deployed environment. We evaluate applying it Widar 3.0 dataset. Extensive experiments demonstrate is highly efficient has good ability, delivering an accuracy 93.2% 74.2% - 94.9% in-domain gesture, respectively.

Wi-Fi & Wi-MAX: A Comparative Study
Usually broadband wireless access networks are considered to be enterprise level networks providing us with more capacity as well as coverage. We have seen that in remote inaccessible areas wired networks are not at all cost effective. Wireless networking has offered us an alternative solution for such problem of information access. They have definitely changed the way people communicate and sh...
متن کاملLearner Trust in Learner Model Externalisations
This paper introduces t-OLM, an open learner model to investigate user trust in a range of learner model externalisations. It was found that, while sufficient levels of use were made to suggest user trust in an externalised learner model, the relationship between trust and perceived utility, perceived accuracy, and level of understanding of the model representations, is not straightforward.

متن کاملThe wi stite enigma
High-pressure energy dispersive X-ray diffraction of wi~stite has been obtained with three types of diamond cells; each one is designed to optimize a type of in situ study, namely single-crystal X-ray diffraction, deviatoric strain measurement, or simultaneous high-P-T experimentation. The results demonstrate that above 17 GPa at 300 K wiastite undergoes a displacive transition from B 1 to a rh...

The multi-armed bandit problem with switching penalties (switching cost and switching delays) is investigated. It is shown that under an optimal policy, decisions about the processor allocation need to be made only at stopping times that achieve an appropriate index, the well-known “Gittins index” or a “switching index” that is defined for switching cost and switching delays. An algorithm for t...
